Platform Accounting Group announced two more firms have joined the group. Based in Indiana and Illinois, the additions expand Platform’s presence to the Midwest.

Each year, Utah Business recognizes 20 up-and-coming businesspeople between 20 and 29 years of age. Recipients are described as “20-somethings starting their own businesses, rising through the ranks of existing ones, and recreating the world in their own image.”

Formerly known as D.H. Scott & Company, the firm is one of the largest CPA firms in Redding with nearly 30 employees and has been in operation for nearly 40 years.

The Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting are recognized for their high-profile roles in advancing the profession. This year’s Top 100 renewed their call for the profession to strengthen and diversify the talent pipeline, and offered solutions ranging from rethinking CPA license requirements to making accounting jobs more attractive by boosting salaries, decreasing workloads, and enhancing relevancy.
