Reyes Florez

Chief Executive Officer

Reyes brings a diverse mix of finance and accounting expertise from his time at Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse, and a mix of broad functional skills from the time he spent operating his family’s boutique accounting firm. As CEO, he’s dedicated to providing an exceptional opportunity for the people and firms of the Platform Accounting Group.  

Tyson Chapman

Chief Operating Officer

With a management consulting, people, and strategy background, Tyson is skilled in people development, driving growth, and streamlining processes. He leads operations across all of Platform’s offices and holds a BS in Economics from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.  

Jeff Dredge, CPA

Head of Client Accounting Services

Jeff leads the Client Accounting Services segment of the firm, where he and his team focus on providing clients with outsourced accounting, outsourced CFO, and specialized industry consulting services. He has over 30 years of experience working with businesses in establishing and utilizing accounting systems. Jeff is a licensed CPA in the state of Utah, California, and New Jersey and a graduate of Brigham Young University. 

Adam Hanselman

Senior Director of Strategy

Adam leads strategy and growth for Platform Group. He most recently worked as a Principal at Boston Consulting Group, where he guided clients across growth and operational topics, including optimizing pricing & promotions, expanding geographically, streamlining equipment & operations, and turnarounds for PE-backed companies. Adam was also VP of Strategy and M&A at Beauty Industry Group and an investment banker. Adam holds a BA in Economics from Brigham Young University and an MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago.

Chris Shafer

Head of Talent Acquisition

Chris joined the firm from a Midwest-based staffing agency where he spent almost a decade recruiting tax and accounting talent. He currently oversees recruiting efforts for all of Platform’s offices. He focuses on bringing high-level talent to the company while maintaining a fun and thriving work environment. 

Cathy Knepp

Director of HR

Cathy’s technical tax and accounting background, along with her Human Resource Management experience, make her a valuable advocate for employees at Platform. Having experienced the early acquisition process firsthand, she leverages her expertise to ensure Platform’s people have the right support for success. 

Noah Beery

Director of Finance and Corporate Development

With a background in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking, Noah leads Platform’s corporate development efforts. Prior to Platform, Noah was an advisor out of the Los Angeles, CA office of Credit Suisse, where he advised on over $20 billion in financings across leveraged loans, HY bonds, and equity products. 

Michael Knecht

Senior Operations Manager

Mike works in operations to streamline the onboarding and long term success of each firm here at Platform Accounting Group. Mike has a Bachelor’s in Economics From Brigham Young University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business. He comes with a decade of experience leading teams and developing core processes used by thousands of employees in both Field and Sales operations for a leading Technology provider. Mike enjoys spending time with his family and training for his next Triathlon.
