Platform Accounting Group, the No. 41 firm on Accounting Today’s Top 100 Firms list, announced that Barry Salzberg, former global chief executive officer of Deloitte and the lead independent director of the Thomson Reuters board, has joined its board of directors. His appointment comes as Platform completes a $355 million strategic growth financing led by Treville Capital Group, a New York-based alternative asset manager. 

Founded in 2015, Platform has spent the past decade expanding coast to coast and building a connected ecosystem of locally led firms. The financing provides additional capital to support that continued growth, including Platform’s acquisition strategy, service expansion, and investments in technology, talent and infrastructure.
